The “International Collaboration Project” is an initiative which involves the staff of a number of valuation agencies from around the world undertaking selected research projects and sharing their findings and recommendations in respect of particular topics. The three valuation agencies that select the projects are the Valuation Office Agency in the UK, the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation in Ontario, Canada and the Property Valuation Services Corporation in Nova Scotia, Canada. IPTI's role is to facilitate the project, advise the Steering Group drawn from those three valuation agencies, support the Focus Groups that carry out the research, and publish the White Papers that are produced for each topic.
