The International Property Tax Institute (IPTI) recently concluded its Annual Corporate Workshop in Chicago, bringing together a select group of corporate property tax professionals for a day days of focused discussion, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.

Sponsored by Prologis, the closed-door workshop fostered an environment for open dialogue and candid exchange on some of the most pressing issues facing the industry today. Attendees heard thought-provoking presentations from corporate representatives, but it was the in-depth conversations that followed which formed the heart of the event.

Key themes that emerged included navigating complex property tax challenges, budgeting under uncertainty, retaining trusted advisors, and managing litigation. A strong emphasis was also placed on the power of collaboration across the profession.

In a highlight of the event, IPTI announced the introduction of a new Professional Achievement Award, to be presented annually at the workshop. The award aims to recognize excellence, leadership, and commitment within the property tax community. IPTI looks forward to continuing the momentum as we begin planning activities for the 2025/2026 season.
