Trouy is a graduate of the University of Technology (Jamaica) and the University of Reading (England), & a Chartered Valuation Surveyor with more than two decades of specialized experience in valuation, land administration and estate management. He started at the National Land Agency (NLA), where he operated cross-regionally, holding Senior Valuation Surveyor positions in the Western and North Eastern Regional divisions, and was also part of the first team for the Systematic Land Registration Program in the South Region. Capitalizing on his robust foundational knowledge of the Government of Jamaica’s real property portfolio, he transitioned from the NLA to serve as the Estate Manager for the Factories Corporation of Jamaica (FCJ) Limited, where he oversees rental rate adjustments, while monitoring commercial and industrial asset utilization, and strategic estate logistics. He is a certified paralegal, & also holds professional certification in Climate Change & Sustainability, as well as Surveying & Mapping using Unmanned Aerial Vehicles. He enjoys nature, watching movies & is an avid sports fan, with football being his favourite.
