After graduating from the University of Victoria and working in Kyoto, Japan with Omron Electronics, Pete returned to Canada and began a career in property management before moving into appraisal and assessment. He completed the post-graduate Appraisal option in Urban Land Economics at UBC in 1997, joined BC Assessment, and earned his AACI designation in 2004. Peter has valued a broad range of property types including residential, multi-family, retail, office, industrial, and farm properties. He has served as Deputy Assessor for the Vancouver Island Region, Manager of Quality, Standards and Practices, and now leads BC Assessment’s Provincial Farm Team, overseeing the classification and assessment of farm properties across British Columbia.
