Maryem Mubareka
Maryem is currently the Director of Quality Assurance and Business Support with Service New Brunswick’s Property Assessment Services. While her role is primarily focused on leading the QA team and supporting the delivery of assessment information to 89 local governments and over 480,000 property owners, Maryem has participated in several cross-departmental legislative and operational changes including the ongoing Property Tax Overhaul undertaken by the Province. Prior to joining the team in2021, Maryem held regulatory governance, risk and compliance leadership roles at various public companies across Canada. Maryem graduated from the University of New Brunswick’s Bachelor of Business Administration program and Concordia University’s Graduate Diploma in Accountancy, gaining her Chartered Professional Accountant designation following her internship with KPMG in Montreal, Quebec. Maryem also obtained her Canadian Risk Management designation from the Global Risk Management Institute.
