Marek is an Assistant Professor in the Institute of Spatial Management and Geography. He has published a number of textbooks and original papers on real estate management, property valuation and real estate market in either international or Polish and scientific journals. He is, amongst others, a member of Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, CCIM Institute, and Real Estate Scientific Society. He has professional qualifications for real estate valuation (no 5049), real estate management (no 18356), real estate brokerage (no 11209). Currently, his scientific interests are focused on: real estate valuation methodology and applications of the geo-information technologies in market analysis and automated valuation. He is/was undertaking a number of projects financed by the Polish National Science Centre (NCN), European Space Agency (ESA) or International Association of Assessing Officers (IAAO).
