John has over 20 years’ experience in real estate management, valuation, and assessment. As Director of MPAC’s Valuation Research and Advisory Services group, John and his team are responsible for the development of costing, industry research, and valuation of a variety of asset types throughout Ontario, and particularly for Large and Special Purpose properties. His team develops valuation methodology and economic research within the manufacturing sector, resource sector, power generation and distribution, and transportation and institutional properties.

In previous roles, John has led real estate valuations and reviews for some of Canada’s largest industry transactions including within the datacentre, student housing, telecommunications, heavy manufacturing and power generation industries, on behalf of property owners and institutional investors.

Responsible for the assessment of mining, electricity generation, and manufacturing properties within Ontario, John is uniquely positioned to offer assessment expertise on a variety of topics related to these inter-connected industries.
