A well-documented, passionate and unapologeticallydisruptive Chartered Quantity Surveyor (RICS) & CharteredConstruction Manager (CIOB), he is the visionary mindbehind AI-QS, an RICS Tech Partner and emerging (5D)DTaaS _ Digital Twin-as-a Service; a scalable solutiondesigned to ‘reshape’ the traditional role of the ProfessionalQS, through his body of work now spanning 30+years. DrAbisogun was awarded an OBE by the late HMQEII (UK) in2018, for Services to Diversity and Young People in theconstruction industry. A strategic advisor on ‘digital twin’solutions with a commercial (5D) bias, he continues todevelop his subject matter expertise across a globalportfolio of client facing stakeholders. Building upon hiswork delivered as part of the U.K. Govt (National Digital TwinProgramme, NDTp) at the University of Cambridge / Centrefor Digital Built Britain, he is a co/author of the Digital TwinToolkit (published in February 2021) and resultant, GeminiPapers (published March 2022). Following his role on theNDTp, Dr Abisogun remains a recently appointed, 2024Nima Ambassador (old 'UK BIM Alliance') and he is also the(UK) Sector Lead for Digital Skills and Building Capability atthe Digital Twin Hub, hosted by Connected Places Catapult.
