Commissioner, Hong Kong SAR Rating & Valuation Department

Throughout her career with the Hong Kong SAR Government, Mimi Brown has amassed extensive experience not only in the field of rating and valuation work but also in public policy formulation and administration. From 1995 to 2000, she worked in the Government Property Agency and was responsible for the portfolio management of all non-specialized Government properties situated locally and overseas. Currently, apart from furthering the application of IT and advanced computerization in valuation and provision of property information services, she champions a better understanding of customer needs. Her endeavor, through releasing the Department’s property data to the general public, helps promote fair play and transparency in Hong Kong’s vibrant property markets.
